Betta albimarginata, also known as the Whiteseam Fighter, is a fascinating species of betta fish native to the Sebuku River drainage in East Kalimantan, Borneo.

These fish are bred locally here in Vancouver. 

Habitat: They thrive in shallow forest streams with moderate flow, often found among plant roots and leaf litter.

Size: They grow to about 2.8 cm (1.1 inches) length

Water Conditions: They prefer acidic water with a pH of 4.0 to 6.5 and temperatures between 23-28°C (73-82°F)

Diet: In the wild, they feed on insects and small invertebrates. In captivity, they can be fed live or frozen foods like Daphnia, Artemia, and bloodworms
